Kelsey & Matt | Westland Distillery Wedding | Discovery Park Wedding

When you walk into Westland Distillery (one of the best venues in Washington State, the smell of peat, oak and class overpower you. But, this day was not a day just about whiskey, it was the day that Kelsey and Matt (Westland’s head distiller) joined their lives in a space that is precious to both of them. They took the beautiful, raw beauty of the distillery and made it their own. We all headed to Discovery Park for photos that celebrate their PNW-ness and then got to listen to some of the most fun vows I’ve ever heard (full of jokes about being cat parents and Matt stabbing himself in the hand while whittling just a week ago). The rest of the night flew by thanks to Skillet burgers, beautiful flowers by the Carrot Flower Company, great tunes from DJ Justin and the combination of Westland whiskey and Rainier beer.

Thank you again to both Kelsey and Matt for inviting us into this celebration. It was such a joy to party alongside you both. I think my wedding shirt has a faint smell of single malt and I don’t plan on washing it. Also, I have to give HUGE props to Natasha and her team at Invisible Hostess for making everything go so smoothly!
