I loved that during the photos for Stacie and Richard’s Leap Day wedding, as we walked around the Snoqualmie Falls park near Salish Lodge, we passed at least 3 couples who also were married on February 29. It was beautiful to see the joy, camaraderie, and fun that goes with being married on the least common of days.

The day couldn’t have been better for Stacie and Richard. Every moment was surrounded by smiles, laughter, and stories. Whether it was the “raise your hand if Stacie has made you…” from the bridesmaids or the couple’s intentional compliments to their parents during the ceremony. It was a celebration of intention that took stock of the moments that brought them to this day and stood wide-eyed looking towards the future.

I do want to give a quick shoutout to the incredible teams that made this day possible:

Venue: Salish Lodge and Spa
DJ: Bugsie Productions
Officiant: Frank R Harlan
Flowers: Down to Earth Florist
