Kyle & Mari | Deception Pass Engagement

I love engagement shoots. They are a really fun way to be casual, smile, laugh and get to know people. I loved getting to know Kyle and Mari. They are warm, sweet and just fun to be around. I love seeing the way they laugh, smile and look out for each other. This job is so special because I’m blessed to get know awesome people.

Getting to make images of them in the beautiful Deception Pass state park was a real treat. I love this beautiful spot! The fall colors were just starting, along with the deep greens of the water that flows through this small channel. If you haven’t found your way up there, I really suggest adding this vista to your PNW Plans! That said, do be careful of the fast moving water. Because of the volume that flows through the small gap, the currents are crazy! It is fun to just watch the boats either fly through the fast moving flow. Seriously, go check it out!
