Amelia and Kyle’s Slaish Lodge Wedding was the perfect middle point for the Labor Day weekend. The sun was out and their little moment atop (and below) the falls was truly special. I am so grateful to get to spend the day with this great couple, their family and the beautiful place they chose for their wedding.

I could have spent all day photographing these two. They’re so passionate and elegant. It was a joy to make these images, all with the roar of the falls behind us.

I love seeing the emotional release of ceremonies. Most guests just get to see the wedding and then everything after. It’s really great to be with a couple all day and see their excitement for a ceremony grow over the course of the day and then be released in a joyous celebration.

After the ceremony, we headed down to a private viewing spot of the Snoqualmie Falls for photos. It was a magical experience.
