Riley and Thelben’s Rattlesnake Ledge engagement photos were perfect for a woman who is a traveling doctor in Alaska and a guy who works for the Seahawks. It’s the perfect mix of outdoors, laughter, northwest beauty and joy. I really enjoy hiking sessions not just because it’s an excuse for me to go hiking in the middle of the week (though that is a plus), but it’s a great time to better get to know a couple and see how well they love each other. It was so great to be a part of these two’s inside jokes and to see the way they make each other light up.

I am always blown away by this incredible view. Seriously, how is it possible to have a spot with this perfect view of the Cascades and be so accessible. I guess that’s why it is so busy on weekends, but at 2 on a Thursday, it’s just perfect.

Thelben’s dress was just too awesome. Riley looked pretty good in that velvet suit too.

Thanks again to Riley and Thelben for a sweaty climb up to Rattlesnake Ledge. I’m so excited for their celebration in July!!!
