We were rushing to get down to the waterfront along the Montalake Cut for Amy and Greg’s Washington Park Arboretum engagement photos. The shoot started on the quad in the middle of the University of Washington and just as the sun was starting to dip down toward the horizon, we hopped in cars and rushed over to the park on the other side of the bridge. The time at the school had been super fun and I loved hearing them laugh as we wandered around (with them reliving years of calling the grounds home).
But, we parked and realized just how low the sun was getting. So, it was time to run/walk from the parking lot under the highway and across to viewpoint just as the star started to hid itself behind Husky Stadium. In that light, I love this photo because it shows Greg’s devotion to Amy and just the simple joy they have of bing together.
