Meahgan and Zane’s Georgetown Engagement photos were supposed to be a rainy affair. They planned to wear jackets and scarves, but the weather had another plan. Usually, that is an ominous statement, but for this April day, it was perfection. We met up at the original Rainier Brewery in Georgetown. This is not the famous “R” along I-5, but a series of old, brick buildings in the heart of the neighborhood that now house startups, artists, a flower market and of course, breweries.
This photo makes me smile because just as I told them to look off in the distance a train came up and the conductors started waving at us. It was really cute, but also really funny timing.
These two are so adorable. Meahgan couldn’t stop smiling, no matter what I said. So, there are no serious photos in this mix, but that’s perfect because we were able to make photos that really represent the couple and who they are.
Naturally, we snuck inside for a few minutes to see what was around. Old, abandoned buildings are the coolest.
My hat goes off to the painters of this wall. I love your color scheme and plan on coming back. It just matches a bright sunny day so well!
Even in the heart of industrial Georgetown, we found some spring colors.
