I have been looking forward to Kristina and Nick’s Tyee Yacht Club wedding for over a year now. When we first met, they brought their black lab Kevin and we talked about the rich Armenian cultural celebration that they were planning on the shores of Lake Union. Following their engagement a few months back, I knew that these beautiful humans were going to put together a truly memeorable celebration. From the upon the guys arrival, the bargaining of the bride, the smashing of the plate, sunset and so many other little memories, this was one I am so happy to have been a part of.
The day started at Kristina’s parent’s house, where she and her bridesmaids got ready. Then Nick came with the gentlemen to pick her up. There was a lot of music and dancing.
After the family ceremony, we headed off to Volunteer Park in Seattle for some portraits and to see Kevin. He dressed up for the occasion.
It was then time for them to get married and to dance the night away!
Thanks again to Kristina and Nick for inviting me into this fantastic celebration. It was a real joy to spend the day with your amazing family community and culture. I can’t wait to share more images soon! Also, I have to give huge props to Victoria Alexander Events for putting together the day, beautiful flowers by Blooming Pam, DJing that felt like the party could go until sunrise by Puget Sound DJ and to Sonja Lyon for photographing alongside me. They’re all really good at their jobs.
