Seattle has a few of well known spots. Whether it’s Kerry Park, the Space Needle or the fish throwers, everyone comes to see them. So, for Kristina and Nick’s Pike Place Market engagement photos, we started early so we could see the market in it’s pre-tourist form. I always love going to the market early because it has a different feel. It still feels like Seattle. With that vibe, it was wonderful to make images of Kristina and Nick and celebrate the place they call home. And, then they brought Kevin, the world’s cutest black lab along too! How can you not be in love with these lovely humans?
I am still astounded by how full of joy these two. They were so naturally happy and full of laughter.
After the market, we headed up to Discovery Park for the other side of Seattle, the wild side. I will admit that I walked through three different poison ivy plants during this shoot. It was totally worth it.
OMG, Kevin is the happiest dog ever!
And to top it off, we even had a little fog along the waterfront! Seriously, this day was the best!
Thank you again to Kristina and Nick for these fun photos! I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in the city next summer!
