There is no place quite like the San Juan Islands. Therefore, there is no wedding quite like Greg and Rachel’s Spencer Spit State Park wedding on Lopez Island. Starting with some getting ready time in a treehouse, a ceremony on the beach at the point of the spit (on customized monogrammed camp chairs) and then dancing to a bluegrass band back at the camp, it was a perfect day for these two people to become one.
Everyone should get ready in treehouses. Seriously. Even if you’re not getting ready, this place is awesome.
I can’t even begin to explain how much fun I had making photos in the woods with these ladies. They were totally willing to climb through the woods and then had even more fun making the photos.
We then headed down to the state park for the wedding. The flower girls kinda stole the show for a little bit.
And then they were married!
As the evening began to close, I loved getting a few minutes to make photos with Greg and Rachel on the beach and in the woods. These two really love each other and it shows!
Thank you again to Greg and Rachel for inviting me into this celebreation. It was one that I will tresure long after my sunburns go away and I can’t wait to share more images soon!
