Chris and Kim’s downtown Seattle engagement photos were a pure laugh fest. From the moment I met up with them at the Flat Stick Pub until we watched the end of the light down on the waterfront, these two were giggling. It was everything you could hope for in a gray Seattle afternoon, two bright souls making the day seem brighter and more joyous because they were together.
We met at the Flat Stick pub in Pioneer Square because it’s their favorite spot in the city. Kim knows all the bartenders and it just seemed like the most natural place to start off a city engagement. We laughed until our stomachs hurt as they fumbled through the table golf stations and promised me a million times “I’m usually not this bad.” 😉
From there, we wandered out into the cool of the Seattle winter. The beautiful epic sunset we had hoped for never appeared, but instead were greeted with an intimate afternoon where they could really be the stars of the city. Whether we were on top of the best parking garage (see Bo and Deanna’s engagement there too) or along the waterfront, the pure joy these two exuded to just be together made everything wonderful.
Thanks again to Chris and Kim for an incredible engagement afternoon. I can’t wait for their wedding this summer!
