I’m going to let you in on a secret. We wedding photographers are always secretly (or not so secretly) rooting for a groom to cry during the first look. Bryan’s tears when he first saw Demee at their Olson Mansion wedding could only warm your heart. There wasn’t even a moment of hesitation. He went straight from stoic to tears, exclaiming that “this is all I could have ever wanted.” The tears of the day continued as they moved into the ceremony with each of their personal vows, Demee agreeing that writing their won was going to be romantic and Bryan first promising that he wouldn’t cry because he “was empty,” but apparently that well had a little more in it. You couldn’t help but be excited to see this couple that has lived so much life together finally dedicate the rest of their lives to the adventure at hand.

Thanks again to Bryan and Demee for letting me be a part of the day. Huge props as well to the team at the Olson Mansion for a wonderful venue, Mystik Music for DJing the evening and the incredible army of friends and family that made the whole evening a huge success. I can’t wait to share more images with you all soon!
