OK, I’m a little biased about this one. Amy has been a great friend of our for years. It has been a joy getting to see her and Dave come together, get to know them as a couple and even photograph their engagements at the zoo. Yesterday’s Great Hall at Green Lake wedding could not have been more them. It was amazing to see the way that friends and family came together to make their flowers, organize the day and make everything so personal. I just feel so blessed to be able to contribute to their day in my way.
Yea, they both totally teared up. It was adorable.
We then headed down to Green Lake for a few photos. The rains came, but in true PNW style, these two were OK with a little drizzle and made the photos even better.
Then, it was time for the ceremony. I don’t think that there was a dry eye in the room when Amy’s grandmas gave them their rings in a ring warming ceremony. And then, they were married!
Oh and it was all during the Apple Cup. Every year from now on, these families will not be on the same team, but today Crimson and Gray and the Purple and Gold put aside their differences to celebrate.
Thank you again to Amy and for letting me be a party of this fantastic celebration. I love working with you both and can’t wait to share more photos soon!
